Laurie Martin founded Precious Pets Animal Care more than three years ago with the goal of providing Marin County with pet care providers of the highest caliber. “Caring for animals is not an easy, no-brainer job,” she says. “Pet care providers need to be detail-oriented, diligent, animal lovers who have the ability to think on their feet. I’m very discerning about who represents my company. I generally interview about fifty people for every person hired.”

A former teacher of eighteen years, Laurie has always had the same passion for animals that she had for children. "I started pet sitting and dog walking as a side business during my teaching career. It's always been my dream to run a highly regarded pet sitting and dog walking company in one of the most beautiful places in the world - Marin County."

Precious Pets Animal Care provides home care and dog walking services to residents living in Sausalito, Mill Valley, Tiburon, Belvedere, Corte Madera, Greenbrae, Larkspur, Kentfield, Ross, San Anselmo, San Rafael, Fairfax and, for home care only, southern Novato.
